WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU MEET?
We crossed paths for the first time in 2013 within the halls of Conemaugh Valley High School.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE!
Our first date, a cherished one, took place on September 20, 2014, under the romantic setting of an outdoor movie night presented at Conemaugh Valley High School. We cherish this day because it represents the beginning of our love story and a heartfelt foundation upon which to build our future together. It’s the same date we’ve chosen to begin on our journey of marriage, forever combining our lives in love and commitment.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO TOGETHER?
Jacob – It may sound cliche, but everything. Rayn is my person who I want to share everything life has to offer with. Whether it may be a trip, playing a game, going to concerts, or even watching a movie, it doesn’t matter to me. Just as long as I have her by my side I am beyond content. Every moment I am not with her, I am thinking about the next moment I get to see her.

WHEN DID YOU KNOW HE/SHE WAS THE ONE?
Jacob – After 9 years how am I supposed to pick just one moment? If we are referring to the first time I thought she was the one then it was way back when we were 16. Just two kids who have only been together for a couple months. Every time I hung out with her I just wanted to see her more and more. One special moment will always resonate with me for the rest of my life. That was when those two little kids were together in my Mom’s basement laying down singing ‘Dear Future Husband’ by Meghan Trainor. I knew at that moment that I wanted to be her husband one day and no one is happier for us reaching this special moment than those two kiddos.

HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Jacob orchestrated a breathtaking proposal that took my breath away. It happened near a serene lake nestled not far from our home in New Florence. As I arrived, I was greeted by a scene straight out of a fairy tale: photographs delicately strung up, capturing precious moments from our journey together, fragrant lilies adorning the surroundings, and a sign poised with the life-changing question, “Will you marry me?” It was a moment of pure magic, filled with love, romance, and the promise of a lifetime together.

WHEN YOU THINK OF YOUR WEDDING DAY, WHAT DO YOU ENVISION? WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU?
When I envision our wedding day, I see a tapestry of love woven with moments of pure joy, laughter, and heartfelt emotion. The most important thing for me on our wedding day is the genuine connection and love shared between us, and the profound commitment we make to each other in front of our loved ones. I want our wedding to reflect our personalities, values, and the depth of our bond. It’s about creating unforgettable memories surrounded by those we hold dear, and cherishing every moment as we embark on this new chapter of our lives together.
